The number of family members in your home, how many days per week you eat beef, frequency of quest and other factors all affect how long a half or whole cow will last your family. In general, most families will take 3-5 months to consume a half cow and about twice as long for a whole cow.
7 cu ft freezers will store quarter and half cows. You will need approximately 13-15 cu ft to store a whole cow.
At various times of the year, we have shares of beef available. If the size of share that you are interested in is available, you can purchase immediately. However, to guarantee a share, place a deposit for one of our processing times. We currently process cows mid-summer and mid to late fall to optimize the flavor and nutrition of the beef and respect seasonal variations. By placing a deposit, you are reserving your beef share. Once processing and packing are complete for your share, it will be shipped directly to you. While your animal is being processed, we will collect the remainder of the cost of your share.
